As a first-time author, I was fortunate to have found Tina and Edit This One.
I had first contacted a large publishing firm and they wanted a fair sum of money to bring my book to fruition. Tina offered a more local source for editing and affordable rates for the work. She can also handle the publishing and marketing phases of the project.
Tina has been great to work with and always told me, "it is your book," and wanted to know my thoughts on the process.
For me ... the hardest part of writing a book, believe it or not, was coming up with a title and cover design. Tina had a resource for cover design also and again at an affordable cost.
The bottom line is that the book came to fruition with Tina's expertise. I am pleased with the final result.
The book, by the way, is "A Call to Joy -Celebrating the God of Unconditional Love." It is listed on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. It is a book about spirituality (not region), for those who have questions about what they believe and why.

Being a writer, of any ilk, is about having something to say and needing to express it. Regardless of your means of expression, when you are overwhelmed by a passion, it is so easy to overlook all of the details the English language and its subsequent grammar requires. As well, as writers, we are often too close to our own work to see any loose threads we have left hanging in our narrative. Too often, these details are what can stop a potential masterpiece from ever being shared and enjoyed.
I am a screenwriter, albeit a fledgling, but still, it is my passion to tell compelling visual stories. Screenwriting is a unique form of expression with some very specific rules and conventions, yet still needs the polish of these "details." This is where Tina comes in. Tina took my script and polished all of the "burrs" and helped me tie up the threads so the story could come shining through, and managed to do it lightning fast.

The first thing that people do when they are seeking out an opinion is to turn to someone that they know and trust. For me, what started out as just an attempt to see whether or not I was actually able to write something that was more than just a few paragraphs, turned into a novella-sized story. From there, many ideas were spawned - except I knew that my work was far from polished. At that point, Tina was gracious enough to volunteer to read over what I had written and give me not only her honest opinion on my work, but she took the time to make the necessary corrections.
Both of us at the time admittedly were amateurs in the literary field. Each of us, however, realized that interest had been born; an interest that turned into a passion. Over the years, I have written many (soon to be published) novels, novellas, and short stories; all of which Tina has edited for me. With everybody of work written, every edit completed, and every opinion given, each of us has now honed our craft to the point where we feel that our abilities have reached the level of a seasoned professional.
I can say that without a doubt, I would not have been able to accomplish what I have without the willingness of Tina Rosekrans to read and edit what I have cumulatively written. For that reason, I say thank you - and for that reason, I heavily endorse Edit This One for editing.

If I could give Tina a 100% for helping me edit my second book, I'd have to give her 110% because she went way above and beyond in getting my book ready to publish.
